Welcome

The Modesto Area Classic Thunderbird Club was organized in 1981 with 36 members and received its charter in August in Toronto, Canada at the International Convention. The club is celebrating 40 years as an active club.

The objective of the club is to promote the preservation and restoration of 1955, ’56, and ’57 Ford Thunderbirds. The club meets on a monthly basis to promote friendship, social activities, and exchange information as well as technical support.

The club is presently composed of 28 memberships who reside in Modesto, Atwater, Ceres, Lodi, Manteca, Oakdale, Patterson, Pismo Beach, Ripon, Salida, Stockton, Tracy, Turlock and Sweet Home, Oregon.

The Club welcomes all who are interested in the preservation of classic Ford Thunderbirds to our monthly meetings. It is not necessary that you own a Classic Thunderbird to be a member. Meetings are usually held the second Sunday of each month, for lunch, at a local restaurant, or a member’s home. The club sponsors social events in the form of tours on the third or fourth Sunday during the months the weather is conducive to driving these classic cars.

Additional information on the club and meetings is available by contacting one of the club officers.
